Backend engineer and Solution Support Engineer based in Gijón, Spain, with over three years of professional experience across enterprise Java development and production cloud/platform support.
At Tesicnor, I developed and maintained a multi-tenant Java/Spring application serving more than 50 clients, using Hibernate/JPA, JSF and MySQL. I contributed to its modernization from Java 8 to Java 21, Spring Boot 3, REST APIs and Angular, and worked with Kafka integrations, Jenkins and Grafana/Prometheus.
Since October 2025, I have worked at Mimacom as a Solution Support Engineer, progressing to L2. My work includes troubleshooting AWS EKS/Kubernetes workloads, deployments, resource constraints and scaling; infrastructure automation with Terraform/Terragrunt; ArgoCD/Kustomize and CI/CD; and Keycloak OAuth2/OIDC. I also contribute Go controllers and CRDs for a custom Crossplane AWS provider.
Earlier, I used Python, GDAL, rasterio and NumPy for Sentinel-2 data processing during a GIS internship. I hold qualifications in Web Application Development and Environmental Sciences.
