Senior Backend Software Engineer

I work on the core .NET backend serving multiple dating brands and shared dating features.

I am refactoring a tightly coupled monolithic codebase into independent microservices and shared libraries. I set up a single-source-of-truth translation workflow using Crowdin and GitHub Actions, and improved hot-path performance for geolocation, billing, and configuration through dynamic batching and caching.

My stack includes C#, .NET 10, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, Kafka, OpenTelemetry, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Crowdin.

I worked on hospitality software for hotel distribution and connectivity, integrating hotel property-management and revenue-management systems with the platform.

I migrated the codebase to a new server architecture while continuing to deliver new features. I drove technology upgrades, improved CI pipelines, and performed performance analysis to identify and resolve bottlenecks.

I also adapted team workflows across Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid approaches using C#, SQL Server, Consul KV, GitLab CI, and GitHub Copilot.

I built and improved tools for foreign-exchange options traders, including backend services, WPF/MVVM desktop applications, and APIs.

I implemented European trading-regulation requirements in regulatory and trading tools, contributed to feature design and software architecture, and handled production support in a large organization.

I worked in Agile teams using Scrum and the Spotify model with C#, WPF, MVVM, Infragistics, Sybase, and Oracle DB.

I worked in the air-travel technology R&D division on an airline Departure Control System supporting check-in and boarding.

I developed and supported the product, implemented a framework shared across several airline customers, and adapted the system to customer requirements.

My technical stack included C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, and Oracle DB.

I built a virtual travel-agent prototype for Amadeus as part of a four-person team.

The project used Node.js, AngularJS, MongoDB, Scrum, and Extreme Programming practices.

Completed an engineering degree focused on software engineering and information science. Represented the school at the French Robotics Cup in 2012, working on decision software and pathfinding.
