Analytics Engineer / Data Engineer

I own the dbt transformation layer for a multi-tenant fintech warehouse on Amazon Redshift RA3, delivering staging, intermediate, and mart models for approximately 50 partner clients and internal teams. I translate business requirements into reliable fact tables, SLA reporting models, KPIs, and governed data products while reviewing pull requests and maintaining warehouse quality.

I orchestrate dbt workloads with Apache Airflow on AWS ECS, using dynamic task mapping, concurrency pools, and failure alerts. My work includes Redshift performance tuning, incident investigation, AWS Zero-ETL replication from Aurora MySQL, schema isolation, role-based access control, and migration contributions from Redshift to Snowflake using Airbyte, Openflow, and dbt.

I build automated validation for dbt models, including grain uniqueness, null handling, and metric verification before merge. I also develop AI-assisted workflows with Claude Code, Codex, and Snowflake Cortex, create MCP-accessible semantic-layer documentation, develop FastAPI and Flask integrations, and build Power BI Embedded dashboards and DAX models.

I queried and analyzed operational data in SQL Server to identify bottlenecks and lead process-improvement initiatives with business process owners. I translated operational findings into practical improvements that supported efficiency, governance, and decision-making.

I developed Python automations for repetitive tasks to reduce manual effort and errors. I also built and maintained Power BI dashboards, KPIs, and reporting solutions fed by SQL Server data for teams across the organization.
