Junior Manual QA Engineer Self-Directed QA Portfolio Projects
I created a manual QA portfolio covering UI testing, API testing, and SQL data validation. For the SauceDemo e-commerce application, I authored a test plan and test summary report, designed and executed 37 test cases for login, product sorting, and checkout, and achieved a 94.59% pass rate across positive, negative, and boundary scenarios.
I conducted exploratory testing with multiple user profiles and logged six defects in Jira, including critical, high, medium, and minor issues. Each report included reproduction steps, severity and priority information, and video evidence.
For reqres.in, I built a Postman collection for GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE endpoints with 14 positive and negative test cases. I wrote JavaScript assertions for status codes, response time, and response fields, ran the collection suite, and documented an issue where a newly created POST record could not be retrieved.
I also designed a four-table e-commerce database and wrote eight SQL validation queries using JOIN, GROUP BY, HAVING, and NULL checks. The validation identified six data integrity issues, including duplicate accounts, orphaned foreign keys, missing required values, and an invalid negative quantity.
