Regional Business Analytics Manager at BASF South America, based in Brazil with regional scope primarily across Argentina and Mexico. My work connects commercial strategy, data architecture and business intelligence. I directly lead a team of business analysts and act as a cross-functional bridge between Data Governance, Engineering, Visualization and Data Science / AI teams — influencing a network of technical specialists to translate business needs into concrete data solutions.
What I do today
— Design and maintain master-data products (account hierarchy, tax IDs, geography, territory management) built on tools like Salesforce and Databricks
— Lead the harmonization of the regional analytics portfolio, aligned with global strategies and local needs
— Design and support the build of intelligent automation agents in Copilot Studio and Power Automate to reduce and improve internal operational times
— Drive the shift from static Power BI dashboards toward dynamic, AI-powered visualization tools
— Act as the link between the business and technical teams to scale use cases across the commercial operation
My path
I started my career as a valuation & finance specialist at EY, then transitioned into data, going on to work in BI/Product squads at Mercado Libre — building data pipelines in BigQuery and visualization solutions in Tableau and Looker for the Mercado Pago business across Spanish-speaking markets. That technical base led me to BASF, where I grew from technical consulting for commercial teams to taking on regional analytics management for Latin America.
What drives me
I believe data only creates value when it reaches the right people, in the right format, with a clear call to action, at the right time. That's why I work as much on data quality as on the experience of whoever consumes it — from the data engineer to the commercial manager. There's always room to innovate, learn and improve in a highly dynamic world.
