m Maurice Blackwell Jr., the director and video editor behind Stoodvisions, with nine years of independent production experience. My work includes music videos, commercial projects, artist promos, and behind-the-scenes coverage.

My strength is turning raw footage into a clear, engaging story through pacing, performance selection, sound, and visual style. Having worked behind the camera as well as in post-production, I understand how shooting decisions affect the final edit. I also bring an audio engineering background from studying and working in New York City.

I’ve built my portfolio through hands-on client work, repeat business, and projects I’ve handled from concept through delivery. I’m comfortable owning an edit independently, collaborating with a team, and incorporating feedback while keeping the project’s creative direction consistent.
