Built and launched PerfectPLAY.vegas, a commercial video poker training platform, as a solo founder and full-stack developer. Developed the high-speed Python vpengine mathematical strategy engine, with extensive pytest coverage for strategy tables and edge cases, delivering results in approximately 20 milliseconds.

Built the Django backend and React/Next.js frontend, including real-time hands-free gameplay using AssemblyAI speech-to-text and Web Speech API text-to-speech. Implemented Stripe and PayPal subscription billing, deployed the production platform on DigitalOcean, and maintained zero downtime since its May 2025 launch.

Ported the platform to React Native and Expo while sharing game logic with the web app, then selected a web-first PWA release strategy. Also developed Deep Study, a multi-game strategy reference, and replaced an initially LLM-based RAG implementation with a deterministic engine after testing demonstrated it was more appropriate.

Extracted subscription and visitor billing into a production Node.js, TypeScript, Fastify, Prisma, and PostgreSQL microservice. This work addressed four critical vulnerabilities identified during a security audit.

Developing a Video Poker LLM Knowledge Base using a locally fine-tuned Qwen2.5-3B model with QLoRA and mlx-lm on Apple Silicon. The system classifies and routes player questions across more than 7,500 verified strategy write-ups while constraining responses to precomputed expected-value facts.

Building Seeds to Skills OS, a classroom operating system for a self-contained autism classroom at a Las Vegas high school. The application uses Next.js App Router, TypeScript, Supabase/PostgreSQL, DigitalOcean, and the Google Sheets API, with planned deployment for the 2026-2027 school year.

Prototyped a marketplace search engine that scrapes estate-sale listings, classifies and embeds images with a CLIP vision model, and indexes content in Elasticsearch. Built a test-first FastAPI backend with generated documentation to support keyword, geographic-radius, and visual-similarity search.
