About

Professional summary

I am an electrical energy engineer with a degree in Electrical Energy Engineering from the National Advanced School of Engineering of Douala. I specialize in electrical installations, industrial maintenance, power networks, and automation systems.

I have gained hands-on experience in Cameroon’s energy sector through internships at SOCADEL and ENEO. My work has included maintenance and diagnostics on medium- and low-voltage networks, hydroelectric generators, turbines, and industrial electrical equipment.

I am proficient in industrial automation and supervision, including Siemens S7-1500 PLC configuration, SCL programming, PROFINET networking, SCADA systems, and 4–20 mA analog signal processing. I also work with electrical drawings, instrumentation, commissioning, and technical documentation.

I am rigorous, safety-conscious, and field-oriented. I apply HSE requirements carefully while performing troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and electrical measurements.

I work effectively both independently and collaboratively with operators, technical teams, clients, and project partners. I am seeking an opportunity to contribute to high-impact industrial, electrical power, automation, or maintenance projects.

Career history

Pre-Engineering Intern – Hydroelectric Plant Automation and Supervision SOCADEL

Designed and implemented a real-time incoming-flow calculation and supervision system to support hydraulic optimization at the Songloulou hydroelectric plant.

Programmed in SCL, configured a Siemens S7-1500 PLC, and implemented PROFINET networking. Processed 4–20 mA analog signals and supported industrial instrumentation and SCADA-based real-time monitoring.

Intern – Magnetic Signature Modeling for Synchronous Generator Rotor Faults ENEO

Contributed to modeling the magnetic signature associated with inter-turn short circuits in synchronous generator rotors at the Edéa hydroelectric plant.

Performed maintenance activities on alternators, including cleaning rotors, stators, and slip rings, and applying insulating varnish. Conducted megohmmeter measurements, thermographic inspections, turbine bearing monitoring, lubrication, SCADA supervision, and HSE compliance.

Intern – Electrical Network Distribution and Maintenance ENEO

Supported maintenance and diagnostic activities for medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution networks at the Edéa technical base.

Identified electrical faults, assisted with rapid troubleshooting, and inspected pole-mounted and cabin substations. Helped organize network branches, use switching devices, supervise field activities, handle outage reports, and communicate with customers.
