About

Professional summary

I am a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead with more than 10 years of experience building frontend applications, developer tooling, and large-scale test infrastructure. My core stack includes TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and GraphQL.

I specialize in improving engineering productivity through reliable E2E and API testing platforms. At FundGuard, I built and owned test infrastructure used by more than 80 engineers across multiple teams, with a focus on test stability, scalable CI execution, and clear testing standards.

I have led major testing-platform migrations, including the migration of approximately 2,500 tests from Cypress to Playwright. I have designed automation frameworks, CI pipelines, test-governance tooling, and reporting workflows that reduce flaky tests, execution time, and operational costs.

My experience also includes shipping customer-facing React and TypeScript features, building Node.js GraphQL services, developing white-label marketplaces, and creating accessible, internationalized web applications. I enjoy solving complex platform problems while keeping developer experience practical and maintainable.

I regularly work with AI-assisted development workflows, including Cursor, Claude Code, and MCP integrations. I have created rules and tooling that help teams generate tests aligned with established framework conventions.

Outside of my professional work, I build and maintain open-source tools and personal projects involving ESLint, Next.js, Payload CMS, Python, and hardware-monitoring software.

Tech Lead, Test Infrastructure FundGuard

Led FundGuard's Playwright test platform for approximately seven teams and more than 80 engineers across Israel and Boston. Served as the escalation point for test infrastructure, established code standards, co-designed skip policies with team leads, and onboarded engineers who wrote automated tests.

Reduced flaky-test rates from roughly 10% to 2-3% by implementing a quarantine pipeline that validated new tests before promotion to stable execution. Scaled the E2E suite to approximately 4,500 tests across more than five pipelines while keeping CI execution under 45 minutes through changed-file test selection and up to 32 parallel agents.

Built a TypeScript and Vitest GraphQL API testing framework, moving 50 API-only E2E tests from roughly eight-minute runs to about 20 seconds. Created ts-morph-based scanning and CLI tooling for test ownership, skipped-test reporting, ticket reopening, and test-governance workflows in Azure DevOps.

Owned the automation repository end to end, including migration to Nx, dependency upgrades, and unit testing for scripts and shared utilities. As part of the AI Champions group, maintained Cursor rules, skills, and MCP integrations that helped teams produce framework-compliant E2E tests.

Senior Software Engineer FundGuard

Designed and presented the Cypress-to-Playwright migration strategy to the CTO, then led the year-long migration of approximately 2,500 tests. Migrated core infrastructure and complex suites before retiring Cypress in favor of faster and more stable Playwright execution.

Built FundGuard's original Cypress E2E platform, including authentication, fixtures, shared utilities, reporting, environment management, and CI integration. The platform became the automation foundation adopted by engineering teams across the company.

Identified Cypress Dashboard as a significant cost driver and led the move to Currents.dev, reducing test-reporting costs by more than 70%. Also delivered features in the React and TypeScript application and Node.js GraphQL layer, including new pages and accessibility improvements.

Replaced an unmaintained date-range dependency with a custom component that remained in production in 2026. Supported the organization's Flow-to-TypeScript migration while collaborating with engineering teams in Tel Aviv and Boston.

Frontend Developer WebsPlanet

Built a configurable white-label marketplace for approximately 10 to 20 customers using React and Tailwind CSS. Developed reusable functionality to support different customer configurations and visual themes.

Implemented theming, internationalization, accessibility considerations, Stripe integration, and custom payment integrations. Contributed to a flexible frontend platform designed for multiple branded customer experiences.

Frontend Developer Herolo

Developed React, Redux, and React Native applications. Contributed to application architecture and frontend implementation across client projects.

Mentored junior developers and supported the team in applying practical frontend development patterns. Helped strengthen engineering delivery through hands-on technical guidance.

Frontend Developer Payoneer

Delivered React and Redux features for Payoneer's customer-facing web application. Worked on frontend functionality used in a production financial-services environment.

Contributed to shared frontend infrastructure and reusable application capabilities. Collaborated with the wider engineering team to support product delivery and maintainable frontend development.
