Senior Backend Engineer

I deliver client projects for an IT consultancy across banking, government, logistics, and marketplace domains. My responsibilities span backend engineering, full-stack development, data engineering, system design, technical leadership, deployment, and production support.

For Bank Rakyat Indonesia, I built Go microservices and REST APIs for Fraud Detection, BI-FAST, BRILink, BRIVA, Behaviour Scoring, and Credit Card systems. I also developed Python Flask APIs and ETL services, optimized Kafka consumers to clear hundreds of millions of queued messages in five days, improved a core service's processing time by approximately 70%, and supported Kafka migration activities.

I deploy and operate services using Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Grafana, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and HBase. I have reviewed code, mentored backend and frontend developers, and worked directly with clients.

Recent work includes modernizing legacy systems for SKK Migas, leading four engineers for the Pelindo Port Marketplace, contributing to a data warehouse project for DJBC, and developing Python FastAPI backend APIs and an admin site for the HRTA Gold marketplace.

I led the design and delivery of the Adhara Port Marketplace, a platform used by more than 50 users.

I built the backend in Go using Apache Kafka and PostgreSQL, and developed the frontend with Next.js. I also divided work across the engineering team, reviewed code, and served as the primary technical contact for the client.

I rewrote a legacy HTML and JavaScript frontend using React and helped migrate the Java backend to Spring Boot while adding new product features.

I also worked with Python and Apache Superset to build and support data dashboards.
