Premium food delivery platform in Portugal and Spain (Michelin and high-end restaurants), payments layer serving 2K+ users.

• Owned the financial flow: payment release on delivery confirmation (Tookan-based distributed system), refunds, discounts, reconciliation and payouts.
• Independently led the Stripe to Adyen migration, building a multi-provider setup to run both providers in parallel with structured logging.
• Built KYC/onboarding flows for Stripe and Adyen (self-hosted onboarding on Adyen).
• Fixed bugs that were leaking money and critical production runtime issues in the order/payment cycle; added a backoffice payment capture action after a broken capture flow had cost €1,500.
• Restored Apple Pay and planned recovery for customers who could not check out.
• Maintained and modernized legacy code: new TypeScript/Fastify API, React backoffice, React Native customer app and restaurant POS app (iOS/Android), with i18n in PT, EN, ES and FR.
• Led QA with Playwright and Maestro E2E tests; defined the design system with the designer and shipped pixel-perfect UI.
• Integrated GA4 and Meta Ads, and connected sprint boards to AI agents to automate daily status and bug reports.

US startup building leadstats.io, a sales tracking and carrier intelligence SaaS for the US insurance market. Started part-time and went full-time in June 2025 to speed up launch.

• Owned the core: policy ingestion and commission calculation per policy sold, handling large data volumes.
• Migrated the legacy Python/FastAPI API to NestJS while preserving business logic.
• Modeled much of the PostgreSQL schema for multi-agency, multi-tenant scale; built RBAC and access control with NestJS Guards.
• Continuous performance work: refined queries, indexes and Postgres tuning to remove loading bottlenecks.
• Built an n8n + OpenAI workflow that reads policy PDFs and writes them to the database, with retry and fallback.
• Vue + Tailwind frontend with reusable components, skeleton loading, optimistic UI and caching.
• Key player in the launch: led other devs, delivered the launch plan and supported the first customers as the product scaled.

• Built a WhatsApp marketing CRM for agencies with multiple agents, message automation, lead management and conversion tracking. V1 on whatsapp-web.js + Puppeteer with WebSocket connection management, optimizing resource usage across Puppeteer instances on Docker/EC2; final version migrated to Evolution API with webhooks.
• Set up a GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline deploying to AWS, eliminating manual deploys.
• Built a full-stack e-commerce with Medusa.js, PostgreSQL and MinIO (S3) on a VPS replacing WordPress, cutting load time from 8s to under 1s; integrated Stripe and Pix, transactional emails with Resend, and smart product search.
• Built a low-code WhatsApp POC with Supabase, n8n, FlutterFlow and Evolution API.
• Worked directly with non-technical marketing clients.
