Supported enterprise Apache Kafka messaging infrastructure for mission-critical financial applications, improving cluster reliability, authentication, authorization, security, and operational processes. Managed AWS and Kubernetes environments supporting distributed applications, including Confluent Platform 7.9 upgrades, RBAC, MDS, and OIDC/SSO integration with Azure AD.

Built and maintained CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions for application deployments, infrastructure provisioning, validation, and release approvals. Automated Kafka maintenance and AWS provisioning with Terraform, Python, and Bash; configured observability with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, and Splunk; and supported on-call incident response, RCA, SLI/SLO tracking, capacity planning, and production release readiness.

Supported the Broadridge client remotely by automating Kafka environment provisioning, configuration, and scaling through Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and Jenkins. Participated in a 24x7 on-call rotation for streaming infrastructure, triaging Kafka broker, ZooKeeper, and connector failures and contributing to post-incident reviews and corrective actions.

Managed ZooKeeper ensembles, Kafka Control Center monitoring, cluster sizing, throughput benchmarking, partitioning, replication, retention, and JVM tuning. Implemented cross-region disaster recovery with Confluent Replicator and MirrorMaker 2, executed rolling Confluent Platform upgrades, enforced SASL/SCRAM, TLS/SSL, LDAP, and ACL controls, and developed Kafka Connect integrations for IBM MQ, JDBC, SFTP, and S3.

Provisioned and automated multi-account AWS infrastructure with Terraform modules and AWS CloudFormation, integrating validation workflows into CI/CD pipelines. Deployed and operated Amazon EKS clusters with node groups, autoscaling, namespace isolation, RBAC, IRSA, Helm charts, automated rollback processes, and secure Kubernetes workload controls.

Managed hybrid on-premises and AWS workloads, EC2 lifecycle automation using Python and Boto3, multi-AZ VPC designs, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, VPC peering, IAM governance, and AWS security services. Operated Confluent Kafka environments and container workloads with ECS Fargate and Docker, while implementing centralized logging through CloudWatch Logs, Fluent Bit, ELK, and Grafana dashboards.
