.NET Engineer

I am the sole engineer for two related client systems delivered as a layered C# solution covering Domain, Application, Infrastructure, and Web layers. The systems use PostgreSQL, Entity Framework Core, and Docker.

I own requirements, architecture, implementation, and deployment. I established reproducible forward-only database migrations, Semantic Versioning, branch protection, and CI checks. I am also building asynchronous integration capabilities with a service bus, transactional outbox pattern, and idempotent message handlers, while integrating self-hosted LLM features through OllamaSharp.

Migrated a VB.NET Windows Forms invoicing application to C# and introduced MVVM to improve maintainability, separation of concerns, and compatibility with modern refactoring tooling. I also created BDD/Gherkin acceptance-test automation for previously untested legacy business workflows.

Built on-premises RAG pipelines using Qdrant and self-hosted LLM inference with Ollama in Proxmox and Docker environments. I selected and quantized models for available hardware, designed structured prompting and agent workflows, and supported recruitment by reviewing coding challenges, interviewing 13 candidates, and onboarding four hires.

Worked on a payments team integrating deposit and withdrawal providers into a live wallet platform handling real-money transactions. Migrated the bonus and player-engagement application from .NET Framework to .NET Core.

Replaced Windows Services with a message-bus and Azure Functions architecture for horizontal scalability. I modernized observability by replacing log4net with Serilog and Seq, and built automated test coverage and CI/CD pipelines for the team.

Maintained and enhanced a supplier payment-request gateway for COFCO International. I diagnosed and corrected data-access defects involving filtering, ordering, and pagination applied in the wrong application layer.

I tuned SQL procedures and functions and improved the ASP.NET MVC front end. The work used .NET Framework, SQL Server, LINQ, MVC, and Angular.

Built REST APIs for Sonae internal platforms and services, performed load testing with JMeter, and worked with MongoDB, SQL Server, Docker, and an Impala-connected web application. I also extended a NopCommerce car-parts portal with Autoline synchronization.

Introduced blue-green deployment pipelines with Azure Pipelines and delivered an audit-scheduling portal with permissions, authorizations, batch tracking, generated documentation, and reporting. My work included C#, .NET Core, CQRS with MediatR, Redis, Angular, RxJS, NgRx, and Agile delivery.

Built an e-commerce platform with invoicing and inventory management integrated with the Gestoc ERP. I also delivered integrations between Gestoc, Bosch CORE, and the ACP office network through web services.

Designed an internal EDI-style document exchange format between clients. The stack included C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, SQL Server, Entity Framework, LINQ, WCF, Web API, Xamarin.Forms, xUnit, Selenium WebDriver, CI/CD, and TFS.

Developed ASP.NET e-commerce applications that read from and wrote directly to a PHC ERP database. Later participated in migrating the application architecture to ASP.NET MVC.

Built a Windows Phone companion application using Silverlight and WCF to support the platform.

Developed process automation for a classic ASP document-flow application. The role involved improving business workflows in an established legacy environment.

Built an ASP.NET e-commerce application that exported orders into a COBOL invoicing system.
