About

Professional summary

I am a cloud and Linux engineer with more than seven years of hands-on experience supporting production systems, cloud infrastructure, and customer-facing technical operations.

I currently work as a DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer at IBM, where I serve as a technical contact for customer cloud migration and modernization projects. I troubleshoot Kubernetes, Linux, application, networking, and storage issues while communicating progress, risks, and solutions clearly to customer engineering teams.

My background includes operating Kubernetes environments, building Docker images, deploying with Helm and ArgoCD, and automating Linux configuration with Ansible, Red Hat Satellite, Python, and Bash. I have experience across AWS, Azure, VMware, and hybrid infrastructure.

Previously, I supported Linux servers and infrastructure at AT&T across development through production environments. I worked with RHEL, CentOS, Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly, Apache, Nginx, VMware, storage platforms, networking, security controls, and monitoring systems.

I enjoy investigating complex incidents by analyzing logs, isolating root causes, and implementing durable fixes. I also value mentoring system administrators, sharing knowledge, and helping teams improve their operational reliability.

Career history

DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer IBM

I serve as a trusted technical contact for external customer engineering teams on cloud migration and modernization projects. I communicate progress, risks, timelines, and technical solutions in clear language while supporting customer applications through migration and production operations.

I troubleshoot incidents across Kubernetes environments, Linux nodes, applications, networking, and storage. I operate clusters, perform upgrades and scaling, manage ingress, load balancers, and TLS certificates, and deploy workloads with Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD.

I automate configuration, patching, and operational checks using Ansible, Red Hat Satellite, Python, and Bash. I also build Datadog dashboards and alerts, participate in on-call escalation, support Windows access and endpoint management, and mentor systems administrators through troubleshooting and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Linux Systems & Infrastructure Engineer AT&T

I supported RHEL and CentOS servers across development, SIT, QA, UAT, and production environments. I partnered with developers and application owners to resolve operating system and application issues involving Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly, Apache, and Nginx.

I diagnosed outages using system logs and performance tools, performed root-cause reviews, and tuned kernel parameters and resource limits for high-demand servers. I managed SAN, RAID, LVM, NFS, AWS EBS, S3, and Glacier storage along with Linux networking, iptables, SELinux, DNS, DHCP, load balancers, and certificates.

I operated VMware vSphere/ESXi clusters with HA, DRS, and datastores; deployed containerized workloads to Kubernetes; and built organization-wide Ansible automation for server provisioning. I also implemented monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and CloudWatch and participated in disaster recovery testing.
