Owned backend and full-stack engineering for Google Vids, Looker Studio, and Google Labs Stitch. Built distributed workflows, migration systems, and AI-assisted design tooling focused on reliability, scalability, and production usability.

Rebuilt Google Vids export processing using Node.js, Python, Pub/Sub, and cloud storage, reducing export failures to below 0.5% and preview latency to 12 seconds. Improved workflow idempotency, eliminated duplicate rendering work, protected interactive capacity during export bursts, and led cross-team architecture reviews for service contracts and failure handling.

Built backend systems and data pipelines for Google Keep, Google Fit, and Google Lens, covering health data ingestion, asynchronous reconciliation, AI inference routing, search performance, and privacy-sensitive event processing.

Reduced Google Keep mutation p95 latency from approximately 4.2 seconds to under 400ms through Pub/Sub streams, FastAPI workers, and PostgreSQL index redesign. Built firmware-aware health data normalization, reduced permission revocation propagation to 90 seconds, improved Lens OCR routing latency, and developed read-optimized search projection tables.

Worked across Cortana, Microsoft Sway, Bing, and Microsoft Health on backend orchestration, frontend state management, API contracts, search aggregation, and device data processing.

Reduced Cortana timeout failures by approximately 60% through intent-aware parallel orchestration and graceful degradation. Improved Bing aggregation latency by 42%, resolved Sway layout divergence with a server-authoritative layout model, implemented firmware-aware health data validation, and standardized TypeScript API contracts across multiple services.

Built Python automation for hardware-software validation workflows, including recurring test execution, log analysis, defect triage, and regression support.

Developed log-parsing and reporting utilities that converted raw test output into structured failure summaries. Automated setup, execution, and result collection tasks to improve repeatability, reduce manual debugging effort, and streamline release-preparation quality checks.
