Senior .NET Architect and Technical Director

I own backend architecture and roadmap delivery for an event marketplace and attendee-engagement platform. I manage a small cross-functional team across backend, web, and mobile development, coordinating sprints, code reviews, and releases.

I architected Stripe Connect marketplace workflows for organizer onboarding, KYC, split payouts, fees, refunds, chargebacks, payout schedules, and reporting. I also delivered ticketing, registration, capacity controls, QR validation, geofenced check-in, gated live chat, notifications, analytics, audit trails, idempotent webhooks, background workers, and message-based reliability features.

I served as Technical Director for a .NET and React team delivering research intelligence and data products. I led architecture, engineering quality, mentoring, delivery practices, and hands-on development for high-throughput research tools.

I built .NET data-acquisition bots with rate limiting and retry queues, normalized metadata and full-text content into SQL Server, and exposed data through Web APIs. I established pipelines for entity resolution, topic tagging, trend indexing, deduplication, provenance, structured logging, health checks, alerts, and trunk-based CI/CD workflows.

I led the Agile transition of three product teams in under two months, establishing sprint rituals, Definition of Done, TDD, and CI practices. I served as Scrum Master for five distributed teams and coordinated planning, backlog grooming, dependencies, and release-train activities.

I led architecture discussions, reviews, and mentoring across C++, .NET, Python, and Angular teams. I delivered production computer-vision systems for attendance, retail, point-of-sale integration, occupancy, parking detection, speed-radar integration, QR workflows, and operational reporting dashboards.

I supported long-running maintenance, upgrades, and production releases for monster.com employer and seeker applications. I led design and implementation reviews, promoted test-driven development, and maintained architectural standards across .NET, MVC, SOAP, JSON, and SQL Server applications.

I managed QA and engineering teams of approximately 28 to 30 people, coached managers moving into Scrum Master roles, and mentored six interns who became Software Engineers. I also led security remediation for XSS, CSRF, clickjacking, and session-hijacking vulnerabilities and delivered an internal HR application using AngularJS and .NET APIs.

I led multinational marketing and development teams delivering web-based applications using .NET, Flash, and SQL Server. I coordinated project delivery across web products and enterprise software initiatives.

I participated in the acquisition, decommissioning, and implementation of a human resources system used by more than 1,200 established companies in Malaysia. I delivered CMS, e-commerce, CRM, e-newsletter, membership, recruitment, and document-management products.

I led software engineers and consultants developing financial systems using Visual Basic 6 and SQL Server, with later upgrades to .NET.

I delivered systems for asset and liability management, portfolio theory, financial forecasting, yield curves, and economic indicators.

I designed and analyzed financial software solutions, including requirements gathering, functional design documentation, implementation, reviews, and employee training.

I worked on financial accounting, project costing, inventory, production, payroll, car rental, and real-estate management systems.

I designed and developed an accounting software product in collaboration with MAK & Associates Chartered Certified Accountants and its information technology division.

My work involved translating accounting requirements into a usable software product and supporting its technical development.

I designed and developed multi-user database applications for operational use.

I also prepared technical documentation and user manuals and trained end users.

I developed a document-management system and supported its implementation in a production environment.
