Senior Data Analyst

I work as a Data Analyst for Banco Santander's GetNet acquiring area. I extract data using SQL Server for daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, presenting findings through dashboards, pivot tables, and Excel visualisations.

I prepare profit and loss reporting and analyse POS terminal behaviour by client and sector, including the effects of geopolitical events, disruptive situations, and changing payment habits. I lead the technical and analytical work for Dynamic Currency Conversion, monitor commercial targets, and respond directly to ad hoc client requests with advanced SQL analysis.

I also transform and optimise data processes and queries, and develop ad hoc automations through VBA macros and Visual Studio.

I worked in the Asset Valuation Department, using SAS programming to calculate vehicle leasing valuation parameters and generate pricing proposals for the sales area.

I prepared profit and loss reports and financial closing analyses, supporting the interpretation of financial results. I also managed database incidents and reviewed records to maintain data accuracy and operational continuity.

I verified the accurate recording of customer information in the internal portal to support approval processes for financial products.

I liaised with branch offices and managed incidents involving incomplete or incorrect customer data, helping ensure data quality and timely issue resolution.
