Senior Software Engineer

I build backend and appliance features for Oracle Database Security products, including Audit Vault Server and Database Firewall. I developed a RAC CLI component with REST API support and CLI wrappers, delivered upgrade and standby-migration workflows, automated OL7-to-OL8 appliance migrations, and built diagnostics and alerting for package differences, disk space, and TLS certificate expiry.

I design and maintain release and infrastructure automation for OCI, AWS, and Azure environments. My work includes Terraform for Live Labs environments, multi-cloud image build automation, touchless OS errata automation, and recurring Oracle Linux and third-party security-update pipelines. I mentor engineers, support customer escalations, and use Codex and Oracle Chat for development, code review, debugging, and test generation.

I built a Ruby-based precheck framework to validate prerequisites and configuration compliance across more than 100 servers before deployment. The framework was adopted into the Chef CI/CD pipeline.

I also developed Ruby and shell automation for scheduled patient-chart data crawling and indexing, deployed through Chef cookbooks. Additionally, I created an alert-to-Jira diagnostic pipeline and delivered Chef training sessions for groups of 30 to 40 engineers.

I wrote scripts to automate network configuration for Polycom devices and investigated and resolved customer-reported software issues.

I also contributed to a proof of concept using Hadoop, Hive, and Pig for telecom data analytics.
