Java/Kotlin Full Stack Engineer

I develop backend functionality and REST API endpoints using Java 17 and AWS Lambda for a serverless application supporting firmware signing and verification workflows. I also contribute to the React frontend and work with S3, SQS, and ElastiCache for storage, asynchronous processing, and caching.

I automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using AWS CDK for multi-stack Security, Data, and Logic environments, including API Gateway and Lambda resources. I contribute to Terraform migration planning, create Selenium UI tests, write service documentation, and collaborate with a distributed team and US-based stakeholders.

I helped modernize a Java 8 monolith using Spring Boot, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and Thymeleaf into Docker-based Java 21 microservices with a React and Redux frontend. I also expanded legacy PHP/MySQL functionality and integrated the platform with Tabletki.ua while working directly with their developers and client stakeholders.

I improved pharmaceutical price recalculation through parallel processing, optimized native SQL queries from approximately 13 seconds to 2 seconds, and introduced Redis caching to reduce primary database load by approximately 30%. I implemented GitHub CI, SonarQube checks, Docker Hub publishing, Flyway migrations, unit and integration testing, code reviews, and Scrum practices.
