Senior Cloud Systems Engineer

I work on the migration of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests infrastructure from on-premises environments to the Italian National Strategic Hub (Polo Strategico Nazionale). I manage the migration of Linux and Windows servers, ministerial data, business processes, batch operations, and databases into Microsoft Azure and AWS environments.

I develop tailored solutions to adapt legacy on-premises processes to modern cloud infrastructure. I also support detailed assessment and decommissioning activities for the client's existing data center.

I provided consultancy for the migration of on-premises applications to AWS and helped establish a well-architected cloud environment using AWS services and third-party integrations. I analyzed client processes and resources to identify operational cost-saving and optimization opportunities.

I led the design and implementation of AWS cloud solutions, including CI/CD pipeline integration, pull request and code review processes, and infrastructure standardization through CloudFormation and Terraform. I also designed and developed high-performance computing clusters for fluid-dynamics calculations supporting Ferrari product development.

I delivered strategic cloud and systems consultancy for clients including Zurich Insurance Group, the Ministry of Education and University, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Fastweb, Barilla, and the Municipality of Milan. I managed and deployed applications on Tomcat, JBoss, and CI/CD platforms while automating time-consuming client processes.

I performed critical patching, security hardening, and vulnerability management for Linux environments including Ubuntu, Red Hat, and CentOS, as well as Microsoft Windows systems. My work supported secure, stable, and efficient enterprise application operations.

I supported Poste Italiane with detailed assessments of existing infrastructure and solutions to define cloud migration strategies. I contributed to application and data migration activities based on analysis of the client's technical landscape and operational requirements.

I integrated CI/CD pipelines, performed load and stress testing, and optimized operational processes. I also implemented scalable, high-performance private and public cloud hosting solutions and configured cloud metrics, alarms, monitors, and dashboards.

I worked as a Linux and network system administrator, monitoring and managing networks, systems, databases, firewalls, and ticketing platforms for client environments. I also served as a JBoss consultant for INPS and Expleo Group projects.

I supported the migration of legacy IBM AIX and Microsoft Server environments to Java 8, Red Hat, and JBoss platforms. In addition, I delivered Linux training for Intesa Sanpaolo, Instituto CEFI, and internal teams.

I contribute as an ICT and Innovation Advisor on projects involving journalistic articles, interviews, post-production activities, and event organization. This role combines technology-focused advisory work with communication and public engagement activities.

I support the planning and organization of public forums, events, gatherings, and related communication initiatives. The experience has strengthened my organizational, coordination, and stakeholder communication skills.

I completed work-study internships across technical support, industrial electrical systems, and web design roles. I provided technical support for electronic devices at Multisat S.N.C. and worked as an industrial electric panel technician at ControlBox Tarlazzi S.r.l.

I also gained web design experience at SMAG Soluzioni Informatiche S.N.C. These early roles provided practical exposure to troubleshooting, technical operations, electronics, and digital design.

Ongoing Computer Engineering degree focused on computer engineering and telecommunications studies at the Italian Chambers of Commerce university.

Completed technology and industrial courses covering LPIC-1, Cisco CCNA, Cisco Security, CCNP, Oracle Java programming, and OCA certification preparation. The program also included communication, sales, public speaking, problem solving, and client-oriented solution development.
