Lead .NET Developer

I lead a team of six developers, including an offshore team in Mexico, delivering two financial applications that serve more than 40,000 customer accounts. I convert stakeholder requirements into implementation plans while operating within audit and governance controls, and I lead Scrum ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release management.

I established trunk-based development, release branches, and twice-monthly releases to Azure App Service and Azure SQL. I built Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, provisioned QA and UAT environments with Terraform and Docker, documented more than 50 endpoints in Swagger, and lead a .NET Core 3.x to .NET 10 modernization. I am also helping move a monolithic transaction platform to ASP.NET Core microservices using Azure Service Bus and Redis, while using QuestPDF, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Azure OpenAI prototypes to improve delivery and operations.

Developed responsive guest-facing and operations web applications using C#, .NET 8, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for sites serving more than one million monthly visitors. Built more than 20 REST APIs to connect internal systems and support business workflows.

Built AWS solutions with EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch, including event-driven integrations. Refactored legacy code to address performance and security findings, and improved Core Web Vitals and accessibility on customer pages to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards.

Built ASP.NET Core APIs and Entity Framework Core service and data layers for AMC Theatres' internal One Pass ticket management platform, used across more than 600 theatres. Developed Blazor functionality for ticket and theatre management to reduce manual ticket adjustments.

Containerized ASP.NET Core services with Docker and deployed them to Azure Kubernetes Service through Azure Pipelines. Also developed Azure API and telemetry integrations for a Class 1 railroad using Azure IoT Hub, MQTT, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Functions, processing more than two million telemetry events daily, and modernized legacy C++ software from Windows XP to Windows IoT Enterprise.

Developed Blazor WebAssembly and ASP.NET Core applications used by more than 150 independent grocery stores. Delivered business features supporting grocery retail operations and user-facing workflows.

Built reporting, sales, and risk management tools using Dapper and PostgreSQL on AWS. Added Redis caching to improve dashboard loading performance and responsiveness.

Led the design and implementation of an automated savings API for online banking, serving more than 200,000 customers. Partnered with product, information security, and QA teams from requirements through production release, and mentored three junior developers through code reviews and design sessions.

Developed online banking functionality for account alerts, transfers, and statement delivery using ASP.NET Core, Vue, SQL Server, and stored procedures. Built unit and integration test suites with xUnit and Moq, increased code coverage from under 40% to more than 80%, implemented OAuth2/OpenID Connect and JWT-based SSO with Azure AD, remediated OWASP Top 10 findings, passed PCI audits, and integrated SOAP services with banking and third-party systems.

Developed features and resolved defects for Microsoft's partner-facing web properties using C#, ASP.NET Web API, Angular, HTML5, and CSS3. Built data access layers with Entity Framework and SQL Server.

Deployed services to Azure App Service through Azure DevOps. Also created cross-platform mobile prototypes with Xamarin for client proof-of-concept engagements.

Built WPF and DevExpress desktop applications in C# and .NET Framework for commodities trading, logistics, credit, and risk management, supporting more than 100 traders and analysts. Developed reporting for commodity pricing and movement using T-SQL, SQL Server stored procedures, SSIS, and Power BI.

Automated more than 10 daily reports and, as Product Manager, gathered requirements with logistics, compliance, and risk teams. Coordinated planning and delivery across engineering, operations, and data teams.
