Senior Software Engineer / Dev Lead

I serve as the hands-on technical lead for a six-developer fintech team, taking ownership of development context, delivery, technical escalations, implementation approvals, and production readiness. I coordinate implementation across the solution architect, developers, business stakeholders, QA, infrastructure teams, and management.

I introduced a repository-aware, human-reviewed AI-assisted SDLC covering refinement, planning, coding, testing, defect analysis, review, and deployment readiness, resulting in an observed approximately threefold improvement in feature implementation speed. I also implemented Flowable-based persistent state and retry processing for daily batch workflows around a core gRPC flow, including aggregate status, failure persistence, and manual retrigger behavior.

I led full-stack delivery of a loan and credit-card marketplace from development through gradual rollout for eligible users of a major fintech platform. I partnered with a solution architect and delivered within formal security, infrastructure, and release-control processes.

I built Java and Spring Boot backend services and Vue 3/Pinia frontend modules for Android and iOS webviews. The platform supported an estimated 100 TPS, primarily read traffic, and approximately 2,000 loan applications monthly across three partner banks. I implemented secure daily bank delivery using ZIP generation, OpenPGP encryption with PGPainless, synchronized SFTP, AES-128-GCM-protected public keys, Firebase Remote Config, and Kubernetes canary rollout processes.

I led a four-developer team responsible for application design and platform delivery without dedicated architect or DevOps roles. I helped design and implement backend-authoritative real-time shared application state using Spring Boot, React, WebSockets, and STOMP, with debounced client input to manage update frequency.

I installed Tanzu Application Platform and Tanzu PostgreSQL on AWS EKS and deployed the application to the platform. I sized the Tanzu and EKS footprint around minimum practical platform requirements to manage AWS cost while preserving viability, and integrated AWS Cognito, Stripe, DocuSign, HubSpot, iTextPDF, and Chart.js into the workflow.

I evaluated emerging cloud-native technologies, built proofs of concept, and presented findings internally for potential client use. My research covered microservices, Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, virtual Kubernetes clusters, Loft, and VMware Tanzu Application Platform.

I developed a platform foundation that I later applied while taking infrastructure ownership on the Financial Advisor Presentation Platform engagement. This work strengthened my practical expertise in cloud-native application delivery and Kubernetes-based platforms.
