Lead the Backend Engineering organization for an AI-enabled digital pathology platform, managing Team Leads, Staff Engineers, and senior individual contributors across Platform, Data Access, and Product Engineering. Report directly to the CTO and shape cloud-native backend and data-platform strategy for scalable pathology imaging workflows.

Defined the AI-assisted engineering strategy and established governance, telemetry, adoption standards, and success metrics. Introduced an engineering operational-excellence framework covering observability, documentation, ownership, security, and reliability; led infrastructure and data-cost optimization; and guided architecture decisions involving DICOM, TIFF, PostgreSQL alternatives, service consolidation, and data-access patterns.

Architected and delivered cloud-native warehouse execution and workforce-productivity platforms, including EFSP and CROP, using Java microservices and AWS infrastructure for Amazon's global third-party logistics network.

Led the Tools Externalization Program, securely enabling 42 internal Fulfillment Technologies tools for logistics partners and generating more than $4M in annual savings. Built and led a team of nine engineers across three countries, managed cross-functional delivery, and reported program, technology, and risk status to VP- and Director-level stakeholders.
