Geomatics and Surveying Engineer | GIS and Geospatial Engineer

I produce thematic maps, cartographic layouts, and technical documentation for site suitability, land analysis, and tenure assessment across more than 15 project areas. I map constraints by cross-referencing geological, cadastral, and tenure datasets, including British Columbia mining datasets, Crown tenure, LTSA title data, PLSS/BLM records, and mining claims.

I convert GIS data to CAD and prepare AutoCAD plans while managing coordinate reference systems and datum transformations in ArcGIS Pro. I automate geoprocessing and file-management tasks with Python and ArcPy toolboxes, reducing manual processing time by approximately 60%, and perform quality control on geospatial deliverables.

I identified ground control points and georeferenced drone imagery across more than 30 survey missions for infrastructure and land-development projects. I generated dense point clouds, DSMs, DTMs, orthomosaics, and 3D mesh models using Agisoft Metashape and Pix4D, covering more than 500 hectares.

I classified LiDAR point clouds into ground, vegetation, and building classes and filtered noise using MicroStation and TerraScan. I also conducted spatial analysis and thematic mapping for territorial planning and site assessment, integrated GIS and CAD data, and completed quality control for client deliverables.

I designed the GIS database for the Kerkennah Island low-voltage electrical network for STEG, including a data dictionary, UML model, and PostgreSQL/PostGIS database design. I collected more than 1,000 network assets in the field with QField.

I processed survey data, corrected topological errors using ArcGIS and ArcPy, and loaded data into the production database with SQL. I also built a WebGIS solution for network visualization and asset management using GeoServer, Leaflet, and Lizmap.

I carried out topographic surveys and stockpile volume calculations in preparation for quarry operations. I also supported land subdivision and lot-layout activities for land-development projects.

I processed survey data, produced topographic maps with AutoCAD and Covadis, and calculated earthwork volumes for roads and platforms from design lines.
