Full-Stack Software Engineer

I build Node.js/Express REST APIs and Vue.js features using Vuetify and Vuex for a cyber risk-assessment SaaS platform with thousands of records and hundreds of customers and partners. I developed a dedicated end-customer dashboard and supporting APIs, replacing a shared view previously used by distributors, partners, and end customers.

I improved large PostgreSQL query response times from 3–5 seconds to under 2 seconds by rewriting queries, removing N+1 patterns, and introducing server-side pagination. I also delivered bulk actions for scan-report findings, enabling customers to reconfigure, assign remediation, and filter large sets of IPs and affected URLs.

I investigate production defects, reproduce issues in staging, identify root causes, and deliver reviewed fixes. I use Claude Code for development, debugging, testing, and documentation while validating generated output, and I mentor teammates through pull-request reviews and engineering standards.

I was the sole web developer on a four-person team building a rewards management platform for a US client from scratch. I used Node.js, TypeScript, React, Redux, and PostgreSQL, delivering approximately 60–70% of the planned platform while accommodating continuing client feature requests.

I designed and built six asynchronous microservices for users and authentication, customers, businesses, points and rewards, subscriptions, and inventory. The services communicated through RabbitMQ, and I secured REST APIs with JWT authentication and role-based authorization. I also integrated the Lightspeed API for inventory synchronization and built a Node.js/Express request-routing service.

Across additional client projects, I built Node.js/Express/TypeScript services with MongoDB and Mongoose, with Jest and Mocha tests as standard work. I also delivered Laravel, Livewire, Blade, MySQL, OAuth 2.0, RBAC, and Vue.js features for fintech, NGO, and accommodation platforms, while managing AWS EC2, S3, Dockerized services, and Agile/Scrum delivery.

I designed the data model and built a school management system from scratch using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and CSS. The system was used by more than 60 staff members to manage over 500 students and 10,000 student records, including academic records, fee collection, teacher records, and payroll.

I migrated the application from plain PHP to Laravel between 2018 and 2019 and owned the system end to end. My responsibilities included feature development, bug fixes, staff support, and end-user documentation.

I also taught IT to classes 11 and 12, covering computer fundamentals, SQL, VB.NET, and Python. I delivered hands-on programming practicals for approximately 30 students per class each year.

Master of Computer Applications degree focused on software engineering and backend systems. The qualification is recognised in Germany through anabin.
