Senior Backend Engineer

I am a Senior Backend Engineer with more than nine years of production experience building scalable backend systems with Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, and PostgreSQL.

I currently work at Syncle, a SaaS platform for product video in e-commerce. I built and continue to own the Content Library domain, a core video catalog and auto-linking platform supporting millions of products and retailer listings.

I specialize in domain-driven design, event-driven microservices, data reliability, and high-performance database work. I have delivered resilient distributed systems using AWS Lambda, SQS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.

I work AI-native through spec-driven development, ADRs, coding agents, independent review workflows, and deployment verification. I have used LLM pipelines to deliver accessibility compliance, translation workflows, and quality assurance at scale.

Previously, I grew from backend engineer to technical leader of a 20-person cross-functional team, hiring and mentoring engineers while leading web, mobile, and microservice development. I have also mentored more than 500 students and taught web development courses.
