Senior Functional Safety and Compliance Manager

I lead functional safety and compliance management frameworks for advanced software-defined vehicle solutions, aligning delivery with automotive industry standards.

I drive safety concept development, hazard analysis, risk assessments, ASPICE Level 1 and Level 2 implementation, and customer assessment support. I collaborate with engineering and compliance teams to maintain safety lifecycle governance, quality checks, and regulatory adherence.

I supported product functional safety for global automotive customers including Harley Davidson, Suzuki, Honda, TATA, and Mahindra as an ISO 26262 Functional Safety Level-1 Engineer.

I led functional safety strategy, concept development, hazard analysis, risk assessment, and ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 lifecycle compliance. I also spearheaded ISO 26262 certification planning, deployed ASPICE Level 1 and Level 2 frameworks, managed QMS activities, performed quality audits, and trained teams on functional safety processes.

I supported ASPICE implementation and internal assessments for automotive projects serving OEMs including VW, Audi, BMW, JLR, and APTIV.

I helped achieve ISO 21434 group certification for Cerence and served as a global certification lead for ASPICE, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, and TISAX initiatives. I also supported Mercedes Benz functional safety projects using ISO 26262 expertise.

I contributed to the successful achievement of ASPICE Level 5 certification, supporting high-maturity software engineering processes across the organization.

I conducted project audits, managed metrics and data collection, performed root-cause analysis, and implemented corrective and preventive actions. I also served as a corporate trainer for ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and QMS awareness while providing process consultancy and project health insights.

I conducted more than 1,500 man-days of comprehensive ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001 audits for national and international organizations.

I advised clients on certification issues, industry best practices, and compliance requirements, helping resolve complex audit and management-system challenges while improving customer satisfaction.

I led the TechGroup for technology learning and project execution, while managing sales activities, requirements gathering, and team building.

I also served as an Internal Auditor and Management Representative for the Quality Management System, establishing foundational process controls and governance.
