We are Enode, a software company building the infrastructure that lets applications connect to and control energy devices. Our platform is designed to make it simple for businesses to integrate with electric vehicles, home chargers, solar inverters, home batteries, heat pumps, thermostats, and other distributed energy resources. Our mission is to accelerate the transition to a sustainable energy system by connecting and optimizing the world’s energy devices. We focus on helping applications unlock flexible demand so energy can be used more efficiently and with a greater share of renewable generation. We provide a single API that abstracts the complexity of working across many different hardware brands and device types. This enables our customers to build products and services such as smart charging, demand response, and energy optimization without needing to manage dozens of separate integrations. We work with energy providers, startups, utilities, e-mobility companies, and other businesses across the energy ecosystem. Our platform is built for a B2B model and is used to support green energy applications that improve device connectivity and management at scale. Our company has also been described as developing energy technology solutions for device connectivity and management, including aggregation of residential energy devices into virtual power plants. That broader use case reflects our focus on making distributed assets more useful to the grid and to customers. We are committed to helping create a more efficient digital energy ecosystem, where connected devices can be coordinated in real time to support lower-carbon energy use. In practice, that means making it easier for our customers to build products that align consumer convenience with grid flexibility and renewable energy adoption.
