I’m a public relations professional with a background in journalism, international affairs, and health and wellness. I covered immigration, education, and politics as a journalist with bylines in TEEN VOGUE, POLITICO, The Wash, and The Investigative Reporting Workshop.
Currently, I’m the Public Relations Manager at C4ADS, a nonprofit research organization that provides data-driven analysis and evidence-based reporting on global conflict and transnational security issues. I help build relationships between journalists and analysts working on hot-button issues in the national security and international affairs spaces.
I hold a Bachelor’s from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Politics and International Affairs with a minor in Spanish and a Master’s degree from American University in International Journalism and Public Affairs.
lead the traditional media relations communications and external relations efforts of C4ADS, including coordinating media outreach, building relationships with major outlets and journalists, tracking major engagements, supporting local investigative media capacity building, analyzing metrics to improve our media engagement strategy, and supporting various non-digital marketing needs.
