Answer all incoming calls and answer any questions patients or other doctors offices may have. Schedule all patients for five different doctors across two office schedules. Must greet all patients who enter the office and efficiently and accurately check them in for their appointment. I also had to review all the patients listed health history in order to find any things of concern, or any allergies we needed to be aware of. Maintain all patient files and keep them neat and easy to find. Check patients out of their appointment, collect any payment and submit any insurance claims on patients behalf. Part of my duties were to follow up on any unpaid insurance claims as well. I would also routinely clean the front office to be sure it was clean for our patients. Communication with the doctors was also very important in order to know where patients were in their treatment process.
