My name is Ximena Delgado Paredes, I was born and raised in Mexico City, and my family moved to the United States in 2012.
β
I graduated from Emerson College with a BFA in Creative Writing and a double minor in Publishing and Latin American Studies. I am currently getting an MFA in Creative Writing at Chapman University.
β
In 2020, I published my first collection of short stories, Para Curarte. In addition, I write fiction and creative nonfiction and am currently working on a fictionalized novel that recounts an immigrant journey of crossing the US/Mexico border.
β
As my career continues, I aim to work more closely with immigrants, creating a safe space to share their life experiences and bring their stories to life.
