Do Not Sell Notice for California Residents
Notice of Right to Opt Out
If you are a California resident, you may opt out of the “sale” of your “personal information” under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).
As explained further in our Privacy Policy, Jobicy.com and our advertising partners collect and share certain pieces of information from our visitors, such as device identifiers, cookies, advertising IDs, and IP addresses and usage activity, so that we and our partners can deliver ads that are more relevant to you on Jobicy.com and other sites or apps. This type of information sharing may be considered a “sale” under the CCPA. Below, we explain how you can control the information that is shared and important information about those choices.
California residents can opt out of this type of sharing using the toggle below. When the toggle is on, information is shared as described above. If you turn the toggle off, information will not be shared as described above. You may still see ads but they may be less relevant.
Opt Out of Sharing
Important notes:
You must opt out on each device and each browser where you want your choice to apply and if you clear cookies, you must opt out again where you want your choices to apply.
We may still share information as otherwise outlined in our Privacy Policy and deliver contextual ads, ads based on to you based on data we have about you, conduct cross-device tracking for us to serve you first-party ads directly, or use information for non-targeted ad purposes, such as attribution and analytics. We may also still share information with our partners (who will function as our service providers) to help us perform functions such as measuring ad effectiveness, controlling ad frequency, ad delivery, providing aggregate statistics and analytics, and/or reducing ad fraud.
More privacy choices:
In addition, there are a number of tools and methods that any user — regardless of location —may use to opt out of information being collected by or shared with certain third parties, subject to the important notes above. Jobicy.com does not maintain or control these mechanisms and settings above and is not responsible for their operation.
Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) Opt-Out
The Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) offers tools that enable consumers to opt out of sharing information with participating third parties for targeted advertising purposes:
- For websites: the DAA WebChoices Tool, available at http://optout.aboutads.info/?c=2&lang=EN.
- For mobile applications: the DAA AppChoices Tool, available at http://www.aboutads.info/appchoices.
Google Opt-Out
If you are on the web, you can also opt out of Google Analytics by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on, and opt out of interest-based Google ads using Google’s Ads Settings. Google may also participate in the DAA WebChoices Tool (above).
Mobile Ad Settings
If you no longer wish to receive interest-based advertising on your mobile applications, please refer to your device’s operating system settings, which may include “Limit Ad-Tracking” on iOS devices and “opt-out of interest-based advertising” on Android devices.
Facebook Ad Preferences
Facebook offers settings that may control what information Facebook uses about you or your device activity for advertising purposes. Login to Facebook and go to Settings > Ads > Ad Settings (web) or Ad Preferences > Ad Settings (app) for more information.
The above choices may not opt you out of the use of previously collected and shared information or all interest-based advertising (such as that conducted on other sites). To learn more about interest-based advertising, please visit the DAA http://optout.aboutads.info/?c=2&lang=EN.
