Sample interview questions
Describe your end-to-end process for producing and launching an email campaign.

I begin by confirming the brief, target audience, business objective, timing, and technical requirements. I build the audience and campaign logic, update the template and dynamic content, validate tracking and links, then complete rendering and functional QA using a documented checklist. After approval and launch, I monitor delivery and engagement metrics, document results, and flag improvements for future sends.

How do you prevent errors in high-volume, multilingual CRM campaigns?

I use structured checklists, version control, naming standards, and peer review before launch. For multilingual sends, I verify that each locale has the correct copy, links, imagery, legal content, personalization rules, and fallback logic. I also test segmentation and suppression criteria carefully, because audience-selection errors can be as consequential as content errors.

What experience do you have with marketing automation platforms such as Braze?

I have experience using marketing automation tools to create audiences, configure campaign workflows, manage templates, and validate delivery settings. In Braze specifically, I would apply these skills to segments, Canvas journeys, personalization, event-based triggers, and campaign reporting, while following established governance and QA processes.

How would you handle a late stakeholder request that changes campaign requirements shortly before launch?

I would clarify the exact change, assess its effect on timing, audience logic, creative, translations, and testing, and communicate the resulting trade-offs immediately. If the change can be made safely, I would update the campaign and repeat the affected QA steps; if not, I would recommend a lower-risk alternative or revised send timing. The priority is to remain responsive without compromising customer experience or launch quality.

How do you use campaign analytics and AI tools to improve CRM execution?

I review delivery, open, click, conversion, unsubscribe, and audience-level trends to identify issues and opportunities for testing. I use approved AI tools to accelerate tasks such as drafting test hypotheses, organizing QA documentation, summarizing performance findings, and checking content consistency, while keeping human review and data-privacy requirements in place. Insights are then translated into practical changes to targeting, content, timing, or journey logic.
