At Crunchtime!, you will contribute directly to the roadmap of our Food Safety and Operational Excellence product, working closely with other designers, product managers, and engineers to design, build, and optimize user experiences. We are looking for someone to conduct customer and market research, discover new problem spaces, define solutions, optimize experiences, and contribute to the product vision. You’ll be at the heart of delivering new products that solve real problems for some of the world’s most recognized brands.

Being a Staff Product Designer at Crunchtime means:

  • Being an individual contributor leading multiple initiatives and/or omni-channel experiences, who not only has a high impact on their initiatives, but also on the growth of the design team as a whole.
  • Being a problem-solver with the ability to simplify complex workflows and navigate ambiguity in order to deliver clear solutions or paths forward
  • Being a systems thinker who partners with Product and Engineering leaders on developing Product Strategy, and working with individual contributors on executing it
  • Being a force multiplier, to amplify the value that Product and Design practices deliver to the organization
  • Building deep customer empathy through direct customer interactions and building relationships, and using data to make decisions
  • Balancing customer needs with business strategy to craft compelling experiences that resonate with the user and impact the industry

What you’ll do as a Staff Product Designer:

  • Leads widespread cross-portfolio initiatives from start to finish in order to provide guidance and clarity on project-level objectives
  • Craft a wide range of artifacts to help articulate the vision and desired user experience
  • Lead by example: establish design practices that are adopted by designers to excel at their craft
  • Design user flows and experiences that go beyond visual interfaces
  • Driving research strategies for user experiences and incorporating practices and findings in the larger Research Operations
  • Actively contribute to the development and adoption of Product, Design, and Engineering practices
  • Set the standard for how to partner with product managers in conducting customer discovery to uncover the customer pain points, limitations and goals
  • Work across multiple teams, partnering with other designers, product managers and engineers to guide concepts from research to ideation, and through to execution
  • Collaborate with other product designers to optimize for speed and consistency, and advocate for scalable design solutions

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Product, UX, or UI Designer for SaaS and mobile products
  • Experience applying user research methods, including user interviews, competitive analysis, and user testing
  • Experience leveraging and actively contributing to Design Systems
  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication, storytelling and presentation skills
  • Own and execute user experience design from concept through launch and support
  • Experience working and mentoring other designers on a team

Nice To Have:

  • Domain experience in retail operations, operations research or related fields
  • Experience as Product, UX or UI Designer working on Enterprise product is a big plus
  • You’ve helped make your work environment fun, and it’s important to you.
  • You’ve built great relationships with coworkers in the past, and want to keep doing it.
  • You care similarly about designing great products, and building great relationships with other people.
