Dear Hiring Manager,

I am excited to apply for the Senior Integrations Engineer position at NTT DATA. With over 8 years of experience in data integration and a strong focus on Informatica IDMC and Databricks, I am confident in my ability to design and operate enterprise pipelines that drive business value. My expertise includes migrating PowerCenter workloads to IDMC, building ELT pipelines into Databricks Lakehouse, and leveraging AI-assisted tools like CLAIRE GPT to accelerate delivery.

In my previous role at a global tech firm, I led a team in migrating 50+ pipelines to IDMC, reducing time-to-delivery by 30% using CLAIRE Copilot. I am proficient in cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, and I have a solid understanding of FinOps to optimize costs. I thrive in remote, fast-paced environments and am eager to contribute to NTT DATA's innovative projects.

Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to discussing how my skills align with your team's goals.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]

Can you describe your experience with Informatica IDMC, particularly in designing and implementing complex data pipelines using CDI and CMI?
I have over 5 years of experience with Informatica IDMC, including designing Cloud Data Integration (CDI) mappings with SQL ELT pushdown optimization, dynamic mappings, and taskflows. I have also used Cloud Mass Ingestion (CMI) for batch and near-real-time ingestion from various sources such as databases, files, and APIs. For example, in my last role, I built a pipeline ingesting streaming data from Kafka into Databricks using CMI, achieving sub-minute latency.
How do you approach migrating PowerCenter workloads to IDMC? Describe the methodology and any accelerators you've used.
I follow a structured methodology starting with an assessment of existing PowerCenter mappings to identify dependencies and complexity. Then I use CDI-PC (PowerCenter to IDMC) accelerator tools to automate conversion of mapping logic. I also perform validation by comparing row counts and data quality between source and target. In one project, I migrated 200+ mappings in 6 months, using a phased approach to minimize business disruption.
Explain how you integrate IDMC with Databricks Lakehouse, particularly with Delta Lake and SQL ELT pushdown.
I use IDMC for Databricks connector to ingest and load data into Delta tables. For SQL ELT pushdown, I configure mappings to push transformation logic to Databricks SQL, leveraging Spark's distributed processing for performance. I also use Delta Lake load patterns such as merge and insert overwrite to handle incremental updates. In a recent project, I optimized a batch load from 2 hours to 15 minutes using pushdown optimization.
How have you used AI-assisted tools like CLAIRE GPT or Copilot in your data integration work?
I have used CLAIRE Copilot to auto-generate mapping logic based on natural language descriptions, which reduced initial development time by 40%. For debugging, I use CLAIRE GPT to analyze transformation errors and suggest corrections. I also use it to automatically document pipeline metadata, ensuring compliance and ease of maintenance.
Describe your experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) in the context of data integration, particularly with Informatica Secure Agents and runtime environments.
I have deployed and managed Secure Agents on both AWS and Azure, setting up Secure Agent Groups for load balancing and high availability. I have experience with cost optimization by right-sizing agent instances and using spot instances for non-production workloads. For example, on Azure, I configured auto-scaling of Secure Agents based on pipeline queue depth, reducing costs by 20% while maintaining SLA.
