Sample interview questions
How would you design an intent-led ABM program for high-propensity cybersecurity accounts?

I would first define the ideal customer profile, buying-committee roles, account tiers, and qualifying intent signals. I would then build persona-specific plays across email, paid media, webinars, direct mail, and sales outreach, with Salesforce and HubSpot workflows triggering actions based on account engagement and stage movement. I would evaluate success through account progression, engagement quality, opportunity creation, pipeline velocity, and influenced revenue rather than lead volume alone.

Describe how you have aligned marketing programs with Sales and Revenue Operations.

I establish a shared definition of target accounts, lifecycle stages, service-level expectations, and success metrics before launch. In recurring reviews, I use account-level reporting to identify engagement, blockers, and follow-up gaps, then adjust messaging, routing, and activation plans jointly with Sales and RevOps. This creates accountability for both marketing execution and seller follow-through.

How would you measure and optimize a multi-touch growth campaign?

I would instrument the campaign with channel, audience, account, and lifecycle-stage tracking from the outset. I would monitor leading indicators such as engagement by persona, meeting conversion, and account progression, alongside lagging measures including pipeline generated, pipeline acceleration, win rate, and ROI. I would use these results to reallocate spend, revise content, refine segmentation, and test new orchestration paths.

What is your approach to using automation or AI agents in marketing operations?

I use automation to remove repetitive work while preserving clear governance and human review for strategic decisions. For example, agents can enrich account data, summarize intent changes, recommend next-best actions, draft initial campaign variations, and trigger approved workflows. I would document inputs, approval rules, data-quality checks, and performance metrics so automation improves speed without creating unreliable outreach.

How would you create expansion pipeline from existing customers?

I would segment customers by product usage, maturity, renewal timing, whitespace potential, and advocacy readiness. From there, I would develop targeted education, customer-story, cross-sell, and executive-engagement programs in partnership with Customer Success and Sales. Results would be measured through expansion opportunities, influenced pipeline, product adoption signals, and retention-related outcomes.
