The role, at a glance.
Kalshi is seeking a hands-on Recruiter to build growth, marketing, brand, creative, communications, and partnerships teams. The recruiter will own the full hiring lifecycle, from intake and passive sourcing through interviews, offers, and closing. Success requires quickly understanding varied functional profiles, assessing candidates' direct contributions, and maintaining a high-velocity candidate experience. The role partners closely with hiring managers and uses funnel metrics to improve search execution. It is suited to an outcome-oriented recruiter who can build searches from scratch in a fast-scaling fintech environment.

Sample interview questions
I would begin with a structured intake to define the business outcome, scope, key interfaces, required capabilities, and evidence of success in the first 6 to 12 months. I would translate that into must-have versus trainable criteria, map comparable companies and talent pools, and use early market feedback to refine the profile with the hiring manager.
I use detailed behavioral and project-based questions to clarify the candidate's exact ownership, decisions, constraints, collaborators, metrics, and measurable outcomes. I also probe for tradeoffs, failures, and how they would repeat or improve the work, which helps distinguish direct operators from peripheral contributors.
I build a targeted market map across relevant companies, portfolios, creator communities, referrals, and adjacent disciplines rather than relying only on title searches. My outreach is personalized around the person's demonstrated work and connects their likely motivations to the specific impact and challenges of the opportunity.
I would monitor pipeline volume and quality by source, stage conversion, time in stage, interviewer turnaround time, time to fill, onsite-to-offer conversion, offer acceptance, and candidate-experience feedback. I would review these metrics with hiring partners regularly to identify bottlenecks and make targeted changes quickly.
I would make the impact visible using candidate timelines and pipeline data, then agree on specific feedback deadlines and a simple decision framework. If delays persist, I would propose practical alternatives such as calibrated debriefs, delegated feedback owners, or escalation through the appropriate leadership channel while maintaining a respectful partnership.
About this role.
What is Kalshi?
Kalshi has defined a new category: prediction markets. Kalshi allows people to trade on the outcome of any events and turn any question about the future into a financial asset. Kalshi fought for years and legalized prediction markets in the US for the first time in history, is currently the fastest growing financial market in America, and has thousands of markets across politics, economics, financials, weather, tech, AI, culture and more.
We believe prediction markets have the potential to be the largest financial market because they turn anything into a financial position.
Our vision: well… build the largest financial market on the planet.
Our mission: bring more truth to the world through the power of markets.
Our culture is simple: we hire really talented people, work really hard, and enjoy the climb. We are looking for ambitious and exceptional people to join our (relatively small) team to help us build the next generation of financial markets.
Role Roadmap
Kalshi’s next stage of growth depends on hiring exceptional people who can bring prediction markets to a much larger audience. We’re looking for a Marketing & Growth Recruiter to help build the teams responsible for making that happen.
You’ll own recruiting across growth, marketing, brand, creative, communications, and partnerships. These searches span very different disciplines – from performance marketers and lifecycle operators to designers and creators – and require someone who can quickly understand what great looks like in each.
This is a hands-on role with ownership from sourcing through close. You’ll work directly with hiring managers to define the bar, find people who aren’t actively looking, and run a fast, thoughtful process that turns strong prospects into Kalshians.
What You’ll Do
Manage role intake, sourcing, screening, interview processes, offers, and closing across marketing and growth.
Map relevant companies and teams, develop targeted outreach, and find talent through LinkedIn, portfolios, communities, referrals, and creative research.
Understand the differences between paid acquisition, lifecycle, brand, creative, communications, and partnerships – and what strong performance looks like in each.
Translate business needs into clear candidate profiles, distinguish essential skills from preferences, and use market feedback to refine searches.
Understand what candidates personally built, shipped, or improved, and help identify the people with the judgment and execution ability to succeed at Kalshi.
Drive timely feedback, maintain clear next steps, resolve bottlenecks, and give candidates a responsive, well-run experience.
Build relationships, understand candidate motivations, tell Kalshi’s story, and partner with hiring managers to bring offers across the finish line.
Track pipeline health, conversion, speed, and offer acceptance to understand where searches need attention and make changes quickly.
What You Bring
You’ve successfully recruited across several relevant disciplines and can speak credibly with both candidates and hiring managers.
You know how to build a search from scratch, reach passive candidates, and uncover talent beyond the obvious companies and titles.
You look beyond a recognizable employer or polished résumé to understand someone’s actual contribution, ability, and potential.
You take responsibility for outcomes, follow through on details, and maintain momentum across multiple searches.
You can earn trust, give direct feedback, and challenge assumptions constructively.
You connect with people, understand what matters to them, and help them see how they could contribute at Kalshi.
You learn unfamiliar functions quickly and make progress as priorities and hiring needs evolve.
Bonus
Experience recruiting for a rapidly scaling consumer, fintech, marketplace, or crypto company.
An established network across marketing, growth, brand, or creative talent.
Experience building recruiting processes or opening new hiring functions.

Our Culture
Meritocracy is at our core, and we value people who take ownership and figure (usually hard) things out. We dream big. We love our craft deeply and are proud of what we put out in the world. We are committed to our vision of building something big… but also useful: a product that brings more truth through the power of markets.
Kalshians are Kalshi’s most important asset: we pick Kalshians carefully, so we trust them fully on day 1.
Commitment to Equal Opportunity
Kalshi is committed to creating a culture of inclusion and belonging, and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We believe it is our collective responsibility to uphold these values and encourage candidates from all backgrounds to join us in our mission.
