Sample interview questions
How would you plan a Medical Advisory Summit from initial concept through post-event follow-up?

I would begin by defining the audience, business objectives, desired clinical insights, success measures, and budget. I would then build a detailed project plan covering programming, invitations, speaker preparation, travel, venue or virtual-platform logistics, vendors, and onsite roles. After the event, I would consolidate attendance, engagement, feedback, and action items into a report that informs product, relationship, and future-program decisions.

Describe how you manage several events with overlapping timelines and competing priorities.

I use a master calendar and workback plans with clear owners, decision dates, dependencies, and risk indicators for every program. I prioritize work according to event criticality, attendee impact, budget exposure, and irreversible deadlines, then provide concise status updates to stakeholders. This structure helps surface tradeoffs early and keeps teams aligned when priorities shift.

What makes a trade-show presence successful beyond booth attendance?

A successful trade show starts with a clear target audience and measurable objectives such as qualified leads, product demonstrations, meetings, or relationship development. I align booth experience, staffing, messaging, sponsorships, and lead-capture workflows to those outcomes, then ensure prompt follow-up after the event. I evaluate performance using both quantitative results and qualitative feedback from attendees and internal teams.

How would you create an effective event experience for physicians and senior healthcare leaders?

I would design around their limited time, professional priorities, and need for relevant, credible discussion. That means concise communications, a polished agenda, strong speaker preparation, practical travel support, and opportunities for meaningful peer exchange and product feedback. I would also gather input before and after the event to continually improve the experience.

Tell us about your approach to managing an event vendor relationship.

I establish a clear scope of work, budget, service levels, timeline, escalation path, and success criteria at the outset. I maintain regular check-ins and document decisions so there is accountability across planning and onsite execution. After the event, I conduct a review of delivery, costs, and improvement opportunities before deciding on future engagement.
