Sample interview questions
I would first define the priority customer segments, target use cases, and leading indicators of successful activation. I would then create a repeatable journey with in-product guidance, self-serve resources, automated lifecycle messages, office hours, and targeted workshops, measuring activation, time-to-value, feature depth, and expansion signals to iterate quickly.
I would combine product-usage data, support themes, onboarding completion, and account attributes to locate segments with low activation or stalled feature usage. After validating the underlying friction through customer feedback and internal partners, I would test a focused intervention, such as a guided workflow, configuration audit, or webinar, and compare adoption outcomes against a baseline.
I would use a structured audit framework covering prompt clarity, intent coverage, escalation behavior, knowledge quality, testing practices, analytics, and feature configuration. I would provide prioritized recommendations tied to expected customer outcomes, share examples of best practice, and coordinate with the account owner or implementation partner for any technical follow-through.
I build alignment around shared customer and business outcomes, use data to make priorities concrete, and clarify the specific decision or contribution needed from each team. Regular communication, transparent ownership, and quick feedback loops help maintain momentum while ensuring partners see the value of the program.
I would learn the platform and regional customer base, map the existing adoption journey, and establish baseline metrics with RevOps and CX. I would identify the highest-impact activation gaps, launch one or two scalable pilot programs, and create a repeatable reporting cadence. By the end of the period, I would present a prioritized regional adoption roadmap informed by pilot results and customer insights.

About the role
This is a brand new Adoption Strategist role sitting at the intersection of adoption, enablement, scaled programs, and product expertise so we expect the scope to evolve and want someone excited to build as it does. You’ll design and run the programs – onboarding tracks, lifecycle campaigns, workshops, adoption playbooks – that drive corporate and mid-market customers to activate their core use case and expand into new ones. Everything you build has to scale across a high-volume book, not be custom to one account. You’ll need deep product fluency – enough to be the most credible voice in the room on how to use the product well – without ever owning an account or its technical implementation directly. This is a builder role for someone extremely analytical, comfortable running live enablement at scale, and already advanced with AI tools to automate the systems behind it.
Since this is a new role, we expect the scope to evolve over time – being adaptable and excited to build is a core part of being successful here. Focus areas include, but aren’t limited to:
Drive strong adoption by building and delivering scalable enablement and activation programs that educate customers on best practices, and get them to time-to-value quickly on their core use case
Develop deep product expertise across the entire ElevenLabs platform, with a focus on ElevenAgents and ElevenCreative – you’re a product expert on our existing product and you’re constantly the first to learn new products coming to market
Proactively audit customer agents prompts, configurations, and feature setup to identify gaps, and share recommendations as a value-add service that drives deeper adoption
Track and drive key leading and lagging adoption metrics, partnering with Revenue Operations to iterate on our reporting capabilities, and use those trends to develop data-driven adoption strategies and playbooks across the customer base in region
Partner with Account Management and CX to deliver targeted adoption and enablement campaigns, including regional live workshops and webinars, based on opportunities or new product releases
Engage with external implementation partner and internal teams to help unify adoption strategy across the customer journey (e.g., Solutions Engineering, GTM, Customer Experience, Product Marketing and Engineering)
Partner with leadership on high-impact initiatives that support the local GTM team and global results
Requirements
6+ years in adoption, customer/partner enablement, digital CS programs, enterprise growth or similar role- at an AI-native or highly technical company with a large, low-touch book
Experience with voice AI, TTS, conversational AI, or developer-facing products
A track record of building adoption focused programs from the ground up: onboarding tracks, scaled adoption playbooks, self-serve content, and more
You think in systems but are creative: you’re always asking “how do we scale or automate this,” and building automations and workflows with AI tools is ingrained in how you work
Extremely analytical: you identify trends easily and use them to close gaps, surface opportunities or standardize best practices. You also identify data points that aren’t yet tracked but would uncover new insights and change strategy
Comfortable driving cross-functional outcomes without direct authority, working effectively with Account Management, FDE, RevOps, and GTM to move adoption forward
Experience managing a high-volume book of business at scale, mid-market or commercial segment
Language Requirements – Must be fluent in Spanish/Portuguese and English
