Sample interview questions
How would you explain fertility treatment options to a member while staying within a non-diagnostic, non-directive scope?

I would first clarify the member's goals and questions, then explain commonly available options using balanced, evidence-informed language. I would describe potential questions to discuss with their treating clinician, avoid recommending a specific treatment or interpreting results as a diagnosis, and document the conversation according to protocol.

Describe how you keep your fertility and reproductive-health knowledge current.

I regularly review current clinical practice guidelines, regulatory updates, peer-reviewed literature, and reputable professional resources. I also use structured learning, consultation with clinical peers when appropriate, and periodic review of updated internal guidance to ensure my education remains accurate and within scope.

How would you handle a video session with a member who is distressed after an unsuccessful fertility treatment?

I would create a calm, private space, listen actively, validate the difficulty of the experience, and assess whether immediate safety or escalation protocols apply. I would offer clear, non-directive information and appropriate support resources while encouraging the member to discuss medical decisions and next steps with their own care team.

What steps do you take to protect confidentiality in a remote clinical-support role?

I work from a private location, use approved secure systems, verify identity when required, avoid discussing member information where others can hear, and document only through authorized tools. I also follow organizational privacy policies and promptly report any potential security concern.

How do you manage a flexible contract schedule while ensuring reliable member availability?

I establish and communicate dependable availability in advance, monitor appointment demand, and notify the team early about any capacity changes. I use scheduling and documentation workflows consistently so members receive timely sessions and the team has clear visibility into coverage.
