Sample interview questions
How would you prioritize marketing investment across Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, and other APAC opportunities?

I would assess each market against revenue potential, pipeline coverage, sales priorities, audience maturity, partner access, and historical channel performance. I would then assign investment tiers, test scalable programs in emerging markets, and review performance regularly to reallocate budget toward the strongest opportunities.

Describe your approach to localizing a global campaign for an APAC audience.

I would retain the central value proposition while adapting proof points, messaging, content formats, channels, timing, and calls to action for each market. I would validate the approach with local Sales and partners, then measure conversion and pipeline impact to improve subsequent launches.

How do you ensure an in-person event produces measurable pipeline rather than just attendance?

I start with clear audience, pipeline, and meeting objectives, then align account lists and follow-up responsibilities with Sales before promotion begins. After the event, I track registrations, attendance quality, meetings, engagement, opportunities, and influenced pipeline through a defined follow-up cadence.

How would you work with Sales while avoiding a purely reactive marketing approach?

I would establish a shared planning rhythm that incorporates Sales insights, account priorities, and market feedback while maintaining a documented regional strategy and quarterly program roadmap. This enables responsive support for genuine opportunities without losing focus on scalable, long-term demand creation.

What metrics would you use to evaluate a regional integrated marketing program?

I would measure reach and engagement at the top of the funnel, then track registrations, lead quality, meeting creation, conversion, opportunities, pipeline, and influenced revenue. I would also compare channel efficiency, program costs, and performance by market to guide future investment decisions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

We’re looking for a Campaign Manager to own regional marketing strategy and execution across APAC, turning business priorities and local market opportunities into multi-channel programs that drive awareness, engagement, pipeline, and audience growth.

You’ll focus on priority markets including Australia, NZ and Thailand, bringing global marketing initiatives to life through locally relevant campaigns, events, webinars, content, and partnerships. You’ll also identify opportunities to expand Cloudbeds’ reach across Southeast Asia and the wider APAC region, adapting programs to different audiences, market conditions, and business priorities.

Reporting to the Sr Manager, Campaign Management, you’ll partner with Sales, PMM, Content, Events, Partnerships, Demand Gen, and Marketing Operations to deliver measurable programs that support regional growth.

What You Bring to the Team

As Campaign Manager, you will:

  • Own regional marketing strategy and execution for APAC, prioritizing programs and investment across key markets to support business goals and regional Sales priorities.
  • Lead local and regional events from planning through execution, including objectives, audiences, budgets, promotion, registration, Sales coordination, onsite execution, follow-up, and measurement.
  • Regionalize and amplify global campaigns, adapting product update webinars, content campaigns, research reports, and product-led initiatives to APAC audiences through the right messaging, channels, timing, and follow-up.
  • Develop market-specific growth programs that build Cloudbeds’ awareness and engage local hospitality communities through relevant channels, industry associations, partnerships, and ambassador programs.
  • Contribute to the strategy and planning of global and marquee tradeshows across APAC, defining regional objectives, target audiences, activation, Sales alignment, and follow-up in partnership with the Events team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver connected programs, measure performance, and use insights to inform future marketing priorities and investment.

What Success Looks Like

You’re a proactive regional marketer who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You understand that APAC isn’t one market and know how to balance global consistency with local relevance, prioritize opportunities across countries, and translate business goals into effective marketing programs. You work closely with Sales without becoming purely reactive, manage multiple programs across time zones, and use performance insights to continuously improve results.

You bring:

  • Experience in field marketing, integrated marketing, regional marketing, campaign marketing, or a similar B2B marketing role
  • Hands-on experience managing local and regional events, including budgets, promotion, logistics, onsite execution, and post-event follow-up
  • Experience developing marketing programs across multiple countries or markets, ideally within Asia Pacific and Australia/New Zealand
  • Strong project management, communication, writing, and messaging skills
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales and global marketing teams
  • A performance mindset, with the ability to analyze results and optimize programs and investment
  • Fluency with AI as a daily marketing planning and execution tool, using it to improve quality and scale output without replacing strategic thinking
  • Comfort working in a remote, global environment with distributed teams and stakeholders across time zones

Bonus Skills to Stand Out

  • Near-native English fluency (C1 or C2) is required; fluency in Thai is a bonus
  • Experience in hospitality, travel technology, hotel technology, SaaS, or B2B software
  • Experience marketing to hoteliers across Australia, Thailand, Southeast Asia, or other APAC markets
  • Familiarity with regional hospitality communities, industry associations, events, and partner ecosystems
  • Experience with partner marketing, ambassador programs, or regional webinars
  • Experience with Salesforce, Pardot / Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar marketing automation and CRM systems
