Sample interview questions
I would begin with the brand's audience, positioning, KPIs, budget, and content requirements. I would build a candidate list using relevant audience demographics, engagement quality, brand affinity, content style, historical performance, and authenticity indicators, then document the rationale for each recommendation before client approval.
I would first validate tracking and reporting accuracy, then review results by creator, channel, content format, audience, and conversion path. I would identify the largest performance gaps, recommend actions such as content optimization, revised creator guidance, additional recruitment, or adjusted timing, and communicate a clear recovery plan with expected impact to the client.
I establish clear briefing materials and disclosure requirements during onboarding, provide examples of compliant content, and maintain a structured review process before publication where applicable. I also audit live placements, flag issues quickly, document revisions, and keep clients informed of compliance status.
I use a detailed priority plan covering deliverables, approvals, creator timelines, dependencies, and risk flags for each program. I prioritize work based on client objectives and deadline impact, communicate potential delays early, and keep stakeholders updated so that no critical task is overlooked.
I would connect metrics to the campaign objective, using reach, engagement quality, clicks, conversion rate, revenue or leads, cost efficiency, and creator-level performance where relevant. I would combine social metrics with attribution and conversion data to explain not only what happened, but also which actions should improve future results.
