Sample interview questions
How have you used campaign performance data to grow an account?

I begin by segmenting performance by channel, audience, publisher, creative, and conversion stage to identify where spend is producing efficient outcomes. I prioritize the highest-impact opportunities, align recommendations with the client’s revenue goals, and track results through agreed KPIs such as ROAS, conversion rate, lead quality, and revenue.

How would you manage a client whose Medicare campaign is underperforming?

I would first validate tracking, lead quality, routing, and compliance requirements before reviewing performance trends by source and segment. I would then recommend focused tests—such as reallocating spend, adjusting targeting, refining creative, or changing bidding rules—and communicate the plan, expected impact, and reporting cadence clearly to the client.

What is your approach to CMS compliance in Medicare performance marketing?

I treat compliance as part of campaign design rather than a final review step. I ensure approved messaging, disclosures, landing-page experiences, call flows, and partner practices are aligned with applicable CMS guidelines, document issues promptly, and coordinate with legal or compliance stakeholders when clarification is needed.

How do you use Excel and Tableau in account management?

In Excel, I use pivot tables, formulas, and data-cleaning techniques to investigate detailed performance and reconcile reporting inputs. In Tableau, I create accessible dashboards that highlight KPI trends, drivers of change, pacing, and recommended actions for both internal teams and clients.

How do you stay organized while managing multiple high-priority accounts remotely?

I maintain a structured account cadence with documented goals, action items, performance dashboards, and stakeholder follow-ups for every client. I prioritize work based on revenue impact and risk, communicate proactively when priorities change, and create clear ownership across internal partners so execution does not depend on constant oversight.
