Sample interview questions
I begin by aligning on business outcomes, technical requirements, decision-makers, risks, and measurable adoption milestones. I document mutual responsibilities, establish a governance cadence, and review progress regularly so obstacles are escalated before they threaten rollout.
I would diagnose the adoption gap using usage data and stakeholder interviews, then agree on a focused recovery plan with the customer and internal product or support teams. I would communicate risks transparently, measure corrective actions against agreed milestones, and connect the renewal conversation to demonstrated value.
I tailor the discussion to the audience: executives receive concise updates on outcomes, risk, value, and decisions, while technical teams receive detail on implementation, security, policy, and operational dependencies. In both cases, I confirm next steps, ownership, and timelines in writing.
I understand that these customers require structured stakeholder management, clear documentation, security-aware communication, and realistic implementation planning. I would engage procurement, security, legal, and technical owners early to identify constraints and avoid late-stage delays.
I would first ensure the customer is achieving value from their current deployment. When a documented business need, user group, or technical use case indicates additional value, I would present the opportunity as a solution to that need and coordinate with the responsible Account Executive.
