Sample interview questions
I begin by reviewing the brand guidelines and identifying the non-negotiable visual elements, such as typography, color, imagery, and layout principles. I then adapt those elements intentionally for each channel while using reusable components and final QA checks to ensure every asset feels cohesive.
I first clarify the business objective behind the feedback and separate objective requirements from personal preferences. I present options tied to the goal, explain the design rationale clearly, and incorporate useful input while protecting the core message and brand integrity.
I assess each request by deadline, business impact, dependencies, and production complexity. I confirm expectations early, maintain a visible task plan, communicate risks promptly, and reserve time for review and revisions before delivery.
I establish a central campaign concept and visual system first, then create channel-specific templates and specifications. This allows the event identity to remain recognizable across signage, social assets, emails, digital ads, and keynote materials while respecting technical production requirements.
I regularly study strong work across branding, editorial, digital, and motion-oriented design, and I test relevant tools and techniques in low-risk explorations. I evaluate trends through the lens of usability and brand fit rather than applying them simply because they are popular.
