Sample interview questions
How have you managed multiple RFPs or business-development projects with overlapping deadlines?

I create a detailed workback plan for each opportunity, assign clear owners and due dates, and maintain a central tracker for dependencies and risks. I hold concise check-ins at key milestones and communicate changes early so contributors can reprioritize before deadlines are affected.

What is your approach to maintaining accurate CRM and pipeline data?

I establish required fields, data-entry standards, and regular audit routines to identify incomplete or duplicate records. I also make the system useful for stakeholders through clear dashboards and reporting, which encourages consistent adoption and improves data quality.

Describe how you would turn an RFP brief into an internal kickoff process.

I would attend the briefing, document objectives, scope, decision criteria, timelines, and open questions, then circulate a concise internal summary. From there, I would build a workback schedule, identify subject-matter contributors, set up shared materials, and track decisions and deliverables through submission.

How do you create effective case studies and capability decks when information is spread across several teams?

I begin with a structured intake that captures the challenge, strategy, execution, measurable results, and available creative assets. I validate facts with project owners, tailor the narrative to the intended audience, and use a clear review process to keep content accurate, concise, and on brand.

How do you communicate with senior leaders when priorities change quickly?

I provide brief, decision-oriented updates that clarify current status, risks, options, and the specific action needed. I document agreed next steps and update project plans immediately, ensuring leaders have visibility without being burdened by unnecessary detail.
