Sample interview questions
How would you build an integrated demand-generation plan for a new B2B technology client?

I would begin with revenue goals, target segments, buying journeys, existing funnel data, and sales feedback. I would then prioritize a coordinated mix of paid, organic, content, lifecycle, and website initiatives, define channel-specific KPIs, and establish a measurement plan tied to pipeline contribution rather than surface-level engagement.

Describe how you translate campaign performance data into an actionable client recommendation.

I first validate data quality and review performance by audience, channel, creative, landing page, and funnel stage. I identify the highest-impact constraint, quantify the likely commercial effect, and present a clear recommendation with supporting evidence, test design, owner, and expected success metric.

How have you used HubSpot to improve conversion and sales enablement?

I have used HubSpot to segment audiences, score engagement, automate nurture paths, route qualified leads, and provide sales teams with timely contextual information. I would align workflow logic with agreed lifecycle definitions and regularly audit conversion rates to improve handoffs.

How do you manage disagreement with a client when the data contradicts their preferred approach?

I acknowledge the client's context and objectives, then present the relevant evidence in business terms such as pipeline quality, conversion rate, or cost efficiency. I recommend a practical test where appropriate, ensuring the decision is based on measurable outcomes rather than opinion.

How would you use AI in this role without sacrificing strategic quality?

I would use AI to accelerate research, insight synthesis, content ideation, reporting, and optimization workflows while retaining human ownership of positioning, audience decisions, quality control, and client recommendations. Outputs should be validated against data, brand context, and commercial objectives before deployment.
