Sample interview questions
How would you develop a 1:few ABM campaign for a new Enterprise segment?

I would start with Sales and GTM Operations to define the account cohort, buying committee, intent signals, and commercial objective. I would then create segment-specific messaging, select coordinated channels such as LinkedIn, personalized landing pages, email, and sales plays, and define leading and pipeline metrics before launch. After launch, I would review engagement by account and persona, test creative and offers, and adjust investment based on pipeline progression.

How do you ensure ABM programs support Sales teams rather than operate separately from them?

I involve Sales early in account selection, messaging validation, and follow-up planning. Each campaign should provide clear account context, engagement signals, outreach guidance, and timely handoff rules. I also establish shared reporting around meetings, opportunities, pipeline, and account progression so both teams evaluate success against the same outcomes.

Describe how you would measure the effectiveness of a direct-mail or gifting campaign.

I would establish a test design with a defined target group, success criteria, and tracking process before sending. I would measure delivery and acceptance rates, engagement with follow-up assets, meetings created, opportunity creation, pipeline influenced, and progression compared with a relevant control or benchmark group. Qualitative feedback from recipients and sales representatives would also inform subsequent iterations.

What is your approach to optimizing LinkedIn advertising for ABM?

I would align matched audiences and seniority targeting to the agreed account list and buying committee, then tailor creative and offers to relevant account challenges. I would monitor reach, frequency, engagement, landing-page behavior, and downstream account activity rather than relying only on clicks. I would continuously test audience subsets, formats, messages, and conversion paths while coordinating retargeting with sales outreach.

How would you manage multiple concurrent campaigns with many cross-functional stakeholders?

I use a structured campaign brief, shared timeline, responsibility matrix, and consistent status communication for every program. I prioritize work by strategic account value, expected pipeline impact, dependencies, and launch readiness. Regular checkpoints with clear decisions, documented next steps, and performance dashboards keep stakeholders aligned without slowing execution.
