Sample interview questions
I would first acknowledge the urgency and verify the customer’s account and order details according to security procedures. I would check ticket-delivery status and applicable troubleshooting steps, explain what I am doing clearly, and either resolve the issue promptly or escalate it through the correct urgent-support channel while keeping the customer informed.
I prioritize by urgency and channel expectations, use the knowledge base and approved workflows, and document actions immediately after each interaction. I also confirm understanding before closing a case, which helps prevent repeat contacts and keeps records accurate.
I stay calm, listen without interrupting, and show empathy for the impact on the customer. I then explain the relevant policy in plain language, review the available options, and take ownership of the next step instead of giving a vague response.
I would escalate when the issue falls outside my authority, involves account-security concerns, needs an exception to policy, or requires specialist investigation. Before escalating, I would gather the relevant facts, document the actions already taken, and provide a clear case summary to avoid delays.
I would maintain a consistent schedule aligned with the required EST hours, prepare my workspace and backup internet connection before each shift, and plan rest and personal routines around the schedule. Reliability, punctuality, and schedule adherence would be priorities for me.
