As an organization, we deliver for our customers by living our values. We operate from a place of humility, take ownership of problems and successes, approach challenges with a growth mindset, and put our customers at the center of everything we do.
This role can be based in either Germany or the Netherlands
Own the outcome, not just the relationship.
Some of Europe’s biggest brands run on Amplitude. As a Senior Customer Success Manager, you make sure they get real results from it. You’ll own 15–20 Major Enterprise accounts across DACH, Benelux and the Nordics, and stay with each one from kickoff through renewal and expansion.
You’ll join an established, close-knit EMEA team where people build careers. Many of them have grown into bigger roles here, and you can too.
What you’ll do
Lead deployments end to end. Scope the work, build the plan, run kickoff, and coordinate internal and partner teams so every account hits its milestones.
Spot risk early and fix it. Use AI-powered health signals to catch adoption gaps and blockers before they affect timelines, renewals or results.
Grow adoption. Run hands-on working sessions, find new use cases, and show customers how new capabilities help them grow.
Tell the value story. Build success plans and executive business reviews that tie Amplitude usage to measurable business impact.
Drive revenue with your AE. Work together on renewals and expansion: coach champions, build the business case, and find the next opportunity.
Shape the product. Bring customer feedback back to Product so it influences what Amplitude builds next.
Raise the bar. Build playbooks, share what works, and help the team deliver at scale.
What sets you apart
Commercial instinct. You understand how each customer makes money and connect Amplitude to the results that matter to them.
Prescriptive by default. You know what good looks like, push back on bad implementation patterns, and hold customers to their own success criteria.
Diagnostic mind. You see problems coming and find creative ways around them.
Comfortable with ambiguity. You figure things out on your own and come to every conversation with a point of view.
AI-first. AI is already part of how you work, and you’re always testing better ways to use it.
What you bring
Proven Customer Success experience managing a portfolio of large Enterprise accounts
Experience with Enterprise deployments where change management and data governance were central
Clear commercial wins: customers you’ve retained and expanded
Strong communication and influencing skills, with exec presence
Solid project management skills and the drive to thrive in a fast-moving, independent role

Sample interview questions
I would first align on executive objectives, success metrics, governance, stakeholders, and implementation scope. I would then create a mutually owned success plan with milestones, adoption measures, risk indicators, and an agreed executive-review cadence. Early working sessions would focus on priority use cases that can demonstrate measurable value quickly.
I combine quantitative health signals, product usage trends, support themes, stakeholder engagement, and milestone progress to identify risk before renewal is affected. I validate the cause directly with the customer, agree on a recovery plan with named owners and dates, and monitor leading indicators until adoption returns to plan.
I begin with the customer’s strategic objectives, such as conversion improvement, retention, operational efficiency, or faster experimentation. I connect platform adoption and use cases to those metrics, document the evidence, and present a concise narrative of outcomes, remaining gaps, and next investments during executive business reviews.
I would identify unmet customer needs through usage data, business reviews, and stakeholder conversations, then assess whether an additional capability supports a documented priority. With the AE, I would build the business case, map decision-makers and champions, define customer value, and coordinate the account plan while preserving trust as the strategic advisor.
I would clearly explain the risk using their intended outcomes, platform best practices, and relevant evidence rather than simply prescribing a correction. I would propose a practical alternative plan, secure stakeholder agreement on the desired success criteria, and provide hands-on guidance to help the team adopt the improved approach.
